Steps to become a volunteer with Habitat for Humanity - Trenton
1) Complete Volunteer form:

Volunteer Form online
**Note: this form is only available to print - you cannot volunteer online

2) Print & Sign Volunteer form:
Print out and sign the Volunteer form
3) Call Habitat - Trenton:
Call HABITAT FOR HUMANITY-TRENTON AREA:

- Coordinate your availability & volunteer position desired
- Habitat will let you know the date(s) that you are needed based on
current or projected skill-set needs.
4) Volunteer!
**First time volunteers only
- On the day of your assignment bring your Completed & Signed Volunteer
form directly to the office located at:

- The Volunteer Coordinator will let you know where to go from there

project

THINGS TO BRING: Work clothing, work
boots or shoes with good soles, (sneakers are not recommended, wear at
your own risk!), work gloves, hat with a brim (such as a baseball cap),
and a pencil.
WHAT YOU WILL DO: You may be asked to do
any of the tasks required to build a house, from demolition to framing, to
painting, to sweeping. Your help is greatest when you do what needs to be
done. Let us know if you have a special skill. We will contact you at the
appropriate time. Don't overstate your abilities and you won't be asked to
do something unsafe.
